Types of us travel visa
Nonimmigrant tourist visas for the United States are divided into three categories:

B1 Business Visa

- Meeting with business associates and consulting

- Participating in a short-term training programme
Visitors holding a B1 US Visa are prohibited from engaging in any paid activity while in the country. They need an American Work Visa to be allowed to work and get paid in the United States. A Work Visa's classification is determined by a number of variables, including the applicant's abilities, nationality, education and qualifications, and vocation.
B2 Tourist Visa
Applicants who intend to come to the United States for tourism or medical treatment will be granted a B2 visiting visa. This is a nonimmigrant visa that is normally only valid for 6 months. During their stay in the United States, B2 visa holders are permitted to engage in the following activities.
- Tourism\Vacations
- Visiting relatives or friends
- Getting medical attention
- Participating in social events
- Taking part in amateur sports, music, or other events of a similar nature.
- Visitors on B2 visas are not permitted to work, either temporarily or permanently. To be able to receive paid, you must first obtain a US Work Visa.

HOW LONG CAN YOU STAY?

For most people, the maximum amount of time a visitor can legally stay in the United States is six months. To be more specific, once a visitor's entry is confirmed to be "fair and reasonable," the visitor is granted a six-month stay by default.
